Bea's Chelsea

This outpost of Beas is my favourite, it certainly feels like an independent cafe in that they've paid attention to the local Chelsea style and this branch has a more modern polished look than the other sites. The beautiful cakes, desserts and sweets on offer are far too pretty to eat (coffee and amaretti cake anyone?) and while you might feel inclined toward a tea with your cake, I've always been impressed by their coffee. The baristas know their stuff and the espresso is made with skill & care. Square Mile is the coffee bean of choice.

Tables inside are better as outside the road is very busy. Disappointed with service, cupcakes & location. Not sure why it's listed in the top 20 London cake places. Not impressed. - Mel
